Role: Network Admin Location: Fort Worth, TX Duration: 6+ months (Long Term Contract) Rate: $38/hr C2C *Job Responsibilities*: Oversees, configures, and supports an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Maintains the network by performing the necessary maintenance to support the availability and functionality of the network's hardware (routers, switches etc) and monitoring the network's performance (traffic, bandwidth, capacity). *Required Skills:* There are two key focuses for this position. First is firewall. The candidate must have in depth firewall deployment, configuration, and management experience. Experience should include Pix, ASA, Checkpoint Firewall-1, and Provider-1. Additionally experience with VPN concentrators, Blue Coat cache and AV engines is a plus. The second component is DNS. Candidate must have 3+ years experience maintaining and managing DNS infrastructure for a large organization (20K+ nodes). Experience with an IPAM tool. Any Cisco professional level certification can be substituted for 4 years of overall experience but not for the DNS requirement.--
