Role: DATA ANALYST Location: midtown NYC, NY Duration: 6 months—Possible of Extensions Rate: OPEN *Must Have Investment Banking or financial Markets experience.* *Main Duties/Responsibilities:* • The candidate will focus delivering development projects on time including the following responsibilities: • Perform data and technical analysis on key applications. • Work with user community to agree and ratify requirements. • Analyze reporting requirements to ensure data that is populated is comprehensive. • Gain understanding of Spider modules such as Revenue, Expenses, and Client Relationship Management. • Work effectively with team members in other locations situated globally. • Participate in technical analysis, requirements gathering and testing to ensure functional quality and accuracy • Work in an extremely fast and dynamic environment • Document on delivered functionality • Involved in full development lifecycle development projects *Required Experience:* • 5+ years of total software development experience in IT industry. • Minimum of 2 years of experiences as a business analyst / data analyst working on data warehousing projects • Experience in writing detailed technical design specification. • Proven track record in delivering application solutions. • Experience in the Financial Services industry. Required Technical/Business Knowledge • SQL (Oracle preferred) • Data modeling and relevant tools • Strong oral and written communication skill • Strong analysis and problem solving skill *Other:* Desired Experience • Experience on data warehousing, reporting projects • Experience in IT supporting Investment Banking Business • Experience with Business Objects Desired Technical/Business Knowledge • Business Objects • Investment Banking knowledge--
