Experience:
The keys to this position is that they must be strong in a Windows/Unix
environment, must have VB and SAS. They shall be a liaison between the IT
group andthe
Biostats department.
Job Details/Description of Services:
-Development of access control utilities on EMC-NAS, UNIX, and Windows.
-Development of Biostatistics request/approval system including database and
GUI interface.
-Migration of current Biostatistics data from UNIX server to EMC-NAS
-Migration of legacy data from old version of SAS 6.12 or 8.2 to SAS 9.2
-Maintenance of Biostatistics data servers including access control, study
creation and data transferring.
-SAS Helpdesk to support statistician, statistical programmer and data
operations’ routine works including troubleshooting and problem solving.
-Validation of development and technical writing for documents.
Qualification/Education:
-5 or more years industry experience (or related experience).
-Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
-Development experience with high lever technical skills on EMC-NAS, Solaris
and Windows.
-Programming experience with SAS open codes and macros, Perl, Solaris Shell
scripts, Visual Basic, SQL, Oracle, and MS-Access.
-Ability to manage time and workload effectively to complete multiple tasks
and meet deadlines.
