Develop reports in Microsoft Reporting Services and Stored Procedures in T-SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 RDBMS or newer environment. 2. Perform troubleshooting, tuning, and optimizing of SQL Queries where necessary. 3. Assist with the creation, maintenance and scheduling of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages. 4. Provide production support on an as-needed basis. 5. Provide data services to application programmers by developing high performance stored procedures, triggers and other database level code. 6. Provide timely completion of service requests for statistical and/or clinical report generation. Communicate and/or coordinate report generation as requested in accordance with internal policies and procedures. 7. Work with staff to understand and/or clarify the report criteria and desired output. 8. Maintain functional knowledge of the clinical systems to aide in providing quality customer service. Understand customer’s uses of the systems. 9. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures utilized in the performance of the job, updating them as processes change. 10. Participate in project planning to include the development of project plans, task 11. Maintain current knowledge of industry technology trends. 13. Perform other duties as deemed appropriate. *Education/Experience: * Position requires the level of knowledge normally acquired thought the completion of a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Medical Technology, Information Science or related field of study. Requires 3 plus years’ experience with T-SQL query writing, developing reports in Microsoft Reporting Services 2008 R2 or newer. Experience with Microsoft Integration Services and Analysis Services is preferred. 3 plus years creating MS SQL stored procedures and queries, and designing/developing database applications. Proficiency in data modeling, database optimization, relational database schemas, database mirroring and disaster recovery procedures. Experience reconciling data from disparate sources. Experience in Healthcare and/or Payroll with an understanding of HIPAA transaction sets and deductions a plus.
