This position will provide application system administration support for
enterprise and third-party higher education application servers.
The selected candidate role is to evaluate, review, and recommend install,
monitor, maintain and/or troubleshoot.
Client is looking for a person with extensive experience Web Server such as
IIS, and Apache \ Tomcat, and possibly WebSphere. Client would like experience
with DDL (Data Definition Language, SOAP, XML Schema Definition, and LDAP
integrations.
· Document, implement, deploy, and manage systems in accordance with
the IT Security Standards, University policies and procedures, and industry
best practices. Manage multiple projects regarding project status and
deadlines.
· Provide engineering and design baselines for all new implementations
and hardware upgrades. Maintain and update systems in accordance with Client
Security Policy.
· Provide system monitoring to insure assigned systems are highly
available.
· Coordinate with the infrastructure team, application team, database
administrators, applications support specialists, and vendors to plan and
implement new applications or upgrade.
· Participate in and support capacity planning as IT aligns with
business strategic goals and objectives.
