I have a 6-12 month PeopleSoft QA Test Lead contract in Ann Arbor, MI and
must be on-site.
Client will hire off a phone and Skype interview if not local.
*PeopleSoft QA Test Lead*
We are seeking an experienced test lead responsible for managing and
leading all test aspects of a large PeopleSoft Financials upgrade project.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Design and create overall testing strategy, test plans, and timeline
for the following test phases:
- Unit test
- System test
- Integration test
- User acceptance testing
- Security / roles testing
- Volume / performance testing
- Gather all test requirements / test cases from business users and
functional requirements workshops
- Oversee writing of test scripts for all phases (including authoring as
necessary)
- Explore automated testing tools such as PeopleSoft Test Framework and
make recommendations for use
- Manage execution of all test cycles
- Track and report on test execution status
- Track and report on test related issues and defects
- Escalate issues in a timely manner to management
*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:*
- Performed as testing lead in at least 2 FULL-CYCLE ERP implementations
with PeopleSoft
- Active test team member in at least 3 FULL-CYCLE ERP implementations /
upgrades with PeopleSoft
- Exceptional oral and written communicator
- Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal guidance or
supervision
- Able to drive and achieve results from others
- Basic knowledge and understanding of finance concepts and transactions
(GL, AP, AR, closes, etc.)
- Minimum of 8 years in Software QA and Testing
- Experience in working with both business and technical teams
- Experience with all the test phases listed above
*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:*
- Experience in PeopleSoft Financials
- Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework
- Experience in running User Acceptance Testing
