we are currently seeking an experienced service-oriented architecture
developer for a contract-to-permanent position located in atlanta, ga
(midtown). the successful candidate must have extensive technical and
application design experience and must demonstrate an affinity for seeking,
evaluating and coming up to speed on new technologies. he/she must be able
to effectively communicate with other team members, managers and customers
both verbally and in writing. this position provides the opportunity to be
involved in web and mobile application development as well as small to
large enhancements to existing systems to support corporate operations.
the candidate will participate in all phases of the software development
life cycle and will independently and collaboratively write and review
software requirements, design specifications and code. other
responsibilities include 24x7 on-call rotational support for
mission-critical applications and problem trouble-shooting and resolution.
required skills
- *minimum 4+ years of most recent experience in a professional
environment designing and developing applications in a soa and/or mobile
environment*
- *minimum 10+ years of total experience in a professional environment
developing large-scale .net or java web applications*
- proficiency in:
- .net (c#, asp, vb) web development
- *creating web services (soap/restful)*
- javascript
- unix
- sql
- xml
- knowledge of multi-threaded programming and message based
processing systems
preferred skills
- java and j2ee (weblogic 10.x, jboss)

education: bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science,
engineering or related field.
