For further details please contact me at **972.637.7904.* *Please send me the resumes to **[email protected] <[email protected]>. * *Title:**Blackboard Technical Lead.* *Location: Madison, Wisconsin.* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Job Description:* · Maintain our Blackboard LMS application – Administrative access to the application is necessary and adherence to change control procedures is expected. · Lead Blackboard technical team: collaboration and mentoring team on both issue support and project activities. · Assess operational activities, recommend and implement improvements. · Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. · Proactively communicate and collaborate with faculty and staff to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as needed. · Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs in higher education and translate them into technical and operational requirements · Appropriately manage multiple change requests across a variety of projects and applications. · Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential. · Accomplishing organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. · Working well with cross-functional teams. *Skills Required:* · 8 or more years supporting/development within Blackboard Learning Management System – must include 2 years of Blackboard Administration. · 2 or more years of script development via PowerShell or other scripting language. · Blackboard Server Admin Certification · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or any related field from an accredited institution. · Independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
