Req: Ruby Developer @ Richfield, MN (F2F)
Looking for a Ruby Developer to maintain and optimize existing Ruby (Sinatra) code base, and prepare for service migration to cloud deployments. *RESPONSIBILITIES* · Produce well-tested, scalable, high-performing elegant designs and code utilizing modern web development best practices. · Use prototypes and pre-design techniques (BDD, TDD, etc.) to develop and refine plans. · Develop realistic and accurate estimates of difficulty and work effort. · Design and develop RESTful APIs to power our internal and external integrations. · Perform configuration management, continuous integration, version control, testing and document management. · Participate in Daily Stand Up Meeting. *MUST HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE* · Multiple years of software development experience · Several years of experience with Ruby using a framework of Rails or Sinatra · Agile software design experience, create and consume stories within a sprint structure · Experience creating REST-based APIs. · Pair programming experience Experience with one or more of the following: · AWS · OpenStack · Docker · Git · RSpec · Cucumber · Travis · Jenkins · JIRA *SKILLS/EXPERIENCE* · Strong collaboration skills · Team player who can establish excellent working relationships -- *Thanks + Regards,* *George,* *347-815-4828, (Note: Call me only at "absolute necessity"),* *G-talk / YIM/ Skype**: George.humanresource* <http://www.linkedin.com/pub/george-l/63/557/59b> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
