Position : Cloud Engineer Location : Chevy Chase, MD Duration : 12 Months Skills and Experience Required: This position is responsible for providing technical guidance to enable the department to execute our Microsoft Azure cloud-based initiatives. Key responsibilities: Function as a technical expert across multiple cloud migration projects Provide high-level cloud architecture expertise to managers and technical staff, including guidance on performance, scalability, availability, security, design, implementation, cost, and operational implications. Work with software development and operational support teams to define cloud project deliverables and dates that implement the cloud strategies. Assist with the creation and implementation of a DevOPS support model. Additional Skills: Required Skills/ years of experience needed: 5+ year’s design and/or implementation and/or support of distributed applications for medium or large-scale enterprises. 2+ years’ experience in migrating on premise legacy systems to the public cloud / hybrid cloud, including successful transitions to implementation support teams.
