*Position: Sr Data Architect* *Location: NYC* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Interview – Phone and Face to Face in NYC* *EAD-GC and US Citizen candidates only * *Job Description:* *Key Skills: * • Experienced in building data warehouse using Oracle, SQL Server • Experienced in data modelling and tools like ERWIN • Strong SQL skills across various databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 • Experience with IDE tools like TOAD, SQL Developer, etc. • Ability to independently manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities. • Very Strong understanding of SDLC • Strong organizational, analytical and design skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Expert in advanced Unix and windows platforms • Prior experience in financial industry. *Preferred Skills*: • Knowledge of Actimize, Fircosoft products • Experience in working with Actimize AML SAM or Trade Surveillance Products • Experience in working on tools such as ODI, OBIEE, OWB, Informatica, etc *Qualifications:* • Proven experience in data analysis, defining and documenting business requirements and performing • Demonstrated experience with IT requirements development; Data warehouse design, and integration • Expert analytical skills. Able to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements. • A self-starter and team player that is assertive, independent and can manage multiple responsibilities • Solid analytical skills with ability to start at a high level, working down to the detail. • Experience working with a Global team. *Experience and Education:* • Bachelors’ degree in computer science or other engineering discipline. • 5-7 yrs of Database designing and programming experience. • 3-5 yrs of Data analysis experience *Responsibilities:* • 5- 7 years of solid database design and development using formal SDLC processes • Strong data collection skills using complex SQL and the ability to present and explain the data • Perform analysis to determine and verify business requirements/issues specifications. • Perform production support for any issues that arise during processing. • Provide day-to-day database support of Compliance applications . • Creating Data Dictionary and maintenance of systems associated with Data Privacy solutions • Design, Analyze, validate and manage requirements and deliverables for projects. • Create and execute unit test cases while clearly documenting all test results. • Act as a liaison between development, architectural and Data Governance teams • Work effectively with colleagues toward a common goal, while keeping a perspective of their role and responsibilities within the context of the overall project. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
