Position : Hadoop Developer Location : Sunnyvale, CA Duration : 4+ Months Skills and Experience Required: All skills require 5+ years of experience Seeking onsite technical senior Hadoop resource Scope includes the following: Support existing Hadoop applications in GBI iTunes Financial area including supporting new and existing infrastructure projects. Need to be able to communicate clearly with other IS&T teams and stakeholders as well as business. In addition to the above, the scope includes following release management process as well as maintaining documentation such as writing technical specification, test plans, implementation and production cutover/validations. Resources should have the necessary experience to develop scalable custom solutions using Hadoop technology. Prefer to have someone with GBI/Apple experience. Has worked on platforms like Hive/Hadoop etc. Experience in Java programming. Good Understanding ETL tools and techniques for handling Large Data Volumes.
