*Job Title: Java/ WebSphere Commerce*
* Client Location/ Work Location: Basking Ridge, NJ*
*6 months contract - Basking Ridge, NJ*
*Phone + Skype interview (non-local is ok). *
- *This role is supporting a Java/WCS system so prior support experience
would be huge. But we are open to WCS Developers who haven't done support
as long as they are willing to do it.*
- *Basic Oracle sql skills – troubleshooting required.*
- *Need to have excellent communication skills*
- Some nights and weekend shifts will be required.
M-F onsite work in Basking Ridge NJ
*Main duties and responsibilities:*
- Role is highly visible to the business and client stakeholders
- Lead resolution to every day challenges
- Provide direction to the offshore team
- Incident management and Root Cause analysis
- Provide status reporting for internal and client use
- Provide on-call on a rotational basis
- Work with the development team and LT to address any escalations or
attend to any risks
- Work with the offshore Lead to provide and bring all incidents to closure
- Communicate to client stakeholders in technical and non-technical language
- Need to have a sense of urgency in every activity
Requirements: - Office is in Basking Ridge, NJ
- Demands 5 days/week at client site
- Should be open to working late nights/early morning for offshore
communication
- Should be a self-starter and a team player, and willing to be flexible
with the client and project needs
