*Position: Enterprise Java Developer – Senior* *Location: Fort Collins, CO* *Duration: 12+ Months (Multiple years)* *Interview*: *Phone/webcam* This is a very senior-level position, so client *willing to consider candidates at any pay rate*. *Job Description:* *About The Job* As Lead Enterprise Java Developer, you will help lead the development of the back-end business logic, domain object model, SOA / messaging infrastructure, and service APIs on an exciting, clean-slate enterprise web app project, in an Agile environment. As a Technical Lead, you will work closely with the Project Manager/Owner, Architect, Data Modeler, UI Developers, and QA to assist in investigation, building the team, design and planning, as well as provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers as a Java EE SME. You have both breadth and depth of JEE knowledge and experience applying that knowledge in writing code to build web applications, combined with a strong ability to synthesize, communicate and whiteboard with ease about these topics. *Required Knowledge and Skills* Desired Experience: – Bachelor’s or advanced degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering disciplines. – 10+ years OOD; – 8+ years Enterprise App development, mostly in Enterprise Java; – 3+ years with SOA / Web Services (SOAP, REST) experience; – 2+ years with agile development / Scrum; – 1+ years as in a technical leadership role on a team; – Experience at all phases of a project (including early planning, ramp-up); Skills: – Java EE 6+ / J2EE web application development (EJBs / spring, annotations, dependency injection, JAX-WS, Hibernate ORM, etc.); – Depth and breadth (end-to-end) of knowledge in Enterprise Java / EJBs (or spring), and modern decoupled SOA, n-tier architecture principles and patterns; – Understanding of and ability to explain and resolve back-end design topics that arise in various areas during implementation and deployment of an Java Enterprise application; – Enterprise Java application containers (JBoss, etc.); – Strong technical leadership and technical communication skills; – EJB 3 (Session Beans, MDBs), JPA, JTA, JMS; – Enterprise middleware (JBoss suite optimal), including deploying JMS MOM / publish-subscribe bus (MQ), Fuse; – RESTful (WADL) and SOAP (WSDL) Web Services; JSON and/or XML; – Linux (RHEL); – Strong UML skills and proficient with technical design and documentation tools; *Preferred Knowledge and Skills* Strong Plus: – Relational Database experience a plus; – Apache Shiro (or similar app security framework) a plus; – Rules Engine experience a plus (BRMS, RiftSaw, Drools); – Familiarity with the following (optimal): Maven, Git, Eclipse, SoapUI, UML, Bamboo, Clover, Jira (or similar), Jackson, Jersey, Perl, Python -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
