Please send the resumes at [email protected] Job Title: Business Analyst/ Healthcare Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 6 months The NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a short term (approx. 12 month) senior business analyst to analyze business process, document requirements and help strategize to lay out a roadmap towards setting up the new Division of Health Benefits. Tasks include identifying and documenting business processes, identifying approaches to satisfy business requirements by conducting detailed analysis, document gap analysis, develop business and functional requirements specifications, assist with user acceptance testing, writing procurement documents including RFP etc. Work also involves interpreting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical business users as well as conducting business case development. This individual must support PMO activities related to project time tracking, work plan updates, status reporting, service metric reporting, and related project administration tasks. The selected candidate must be a results-oriented individual with a very strong work ethic. The role requires a very strong understanding of Medicaid business models and Federal CMS expectations. Must be able to demonstrate excellent business analyses process knowledge, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills. This position will be responsible for working with senior-level business executives, IT personnel, and business program resources to gather and document requirements and manage stakeholder expectations. Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements and development of business rules and process flow. Proven experience with business process design, definition and/or re-design. Experience with Business Analysis methodologies and problem solving. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Required Demonstrable analytical skills and an attention to detail. Required Excellent creative thinking and problem solving skills Proactive, quality oriented, with demonstrated leadership and team building skills. Required Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Visio) Microsoft Project, Required 7 Years Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks to best meet overall goals Required Experience in a senior business analyst role in a government environment with a demonstrated track record of successful project execution.
