Role: PeopleSoft Developer (9.2 Upgrade) Location: Dallas,TX Job description PeopleSoft Developer for 9.2 upgrade - Contractor Purpose: Designs, develops, tests, implements and supports PeopleSoft applications in support of HR, Financial and Payroll applications and future development efforts. Receives specifications and/or support requests to develop solutions within the tool sets, provides documentation of changes along with perquisites and dependencies for these changes and troubleshoot issues. Provide support in the area of software application when requested. Designs, implements, and maintains interfaces to various outside agencies, vendors and customers. Write scripts in various software packages to assist users with data acquisition. Proficient in all phases of software development and implementation including Requirements Gathering, System Design/Development, Data Conversion, Interfaces, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Production Support for both Oracle and DB2 databases. Monitors PeopleSoft web site for product updates and fixes. Troubleshooting processes that may include but are not limited to: application engine, SQRs, query analyzer. Responsible for direct communication with Business Analyst and end users. Time & Labor rules development, support and integration to the time administration program. Maintains integrity of data in all Financial and Human Resources/Payroll systems. Assists in special projects or requests. Assist team members as needed. Project leader skills.
Education: Bachelor of Science in computer related field or equivalent education and/or experience. Experience: Five (5) years experience in areas of programming, system development , analysis with ORACLE.
