OVERVIEW
*One of our clients, distribution and retail company is seeking a highly
motivated, exceptionally skilled Senior Oracle Planning & Forecasting
Business Analyst with extensive experience in the deployment of Oracle
eBusiness Suite Supply Chain Modules.*

BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for data enrichment, user responsibility
design, business process flow design, policy development, user acceptance
testing and execution, training curriculum and material development,
conducting training classes, business engagement and change management
activities, planning systems output and performance tuning. Candidate will
be responsible for leading these activities.

OVERVIEW:
This senior analyst should have experience with deployment of Oracle
Advanced Supply Chain Planning.
The candidate should have good project management skills, and should have an
advanced level of understanding of supply chain fundamentals as they relate
to planning, inventory strategy, inventory management & forecasting, and a
mid-level understanding of supply chain fundamentals as they relate to
procurement, warehouse management, order management, transportation and
logistics. Candidate should have experience planning in a complex supply
chain network with a number or regional and local distribution points.
As part of this team, examples of your tasks will include but are not
limited to the following:
Prepare data files for conversion, perform validation of converted data on
behalf of business teams
Develop and deliver change mgt. workshops to prepare the business for change

Resolve design issues where system is not meeting business needs by closely
collaborating with functional teams
Create To Be Process Flows, conduct business process design workshops
Work with the business to develop updated business policies based on new
system attributes
Plan for UAT, help execute and track UAT results
Support cutover and deployment planning
Define training modules, create training materials, deliver training
Develop ASCP plan tuning scenarios to test and validate plan output and
system performance
Must have ability for occasional travel

PRINCIPLE FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
Design and enable both process and system automation for customers (internal
and external) through cost effective solutions.
Work with manager and PMO team to understand project*s strategic impacts,
and provide inputs to develop an integrated project plan with steps to
mitigate risk.
Continuously monitor performance against the plan, and report status and
other metrics related to the assigned project(s).
Work extensively with Oracle Apps ASCP, EBS and PIM
Gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, provide estimates, and
create functional specification documents to meet the requirements.
Assist with creation of detailed implementation plans.
Effectively communicate application changes to the affected parties.
Provide post implementation support for the implemented solutions. This
would involve analyzing issues to figure out the best solutions, and working
with technical and change management teams to get the changes implemented.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
5+ years hands-on experience working in planning roles, proven supply chain
experience.
5+ years experience in working on full life-cycle Oracle projects
Bachelor*s Degree in a business related area
Strong leadership and communications skills
Oracle skills in relevant application areas
Strong analytical skills utilizing structured development and problem
solving techniques
Strong project management skills
