*Job Description:*
*Responsibilities:*
- Oversee policies, standards, and procedures.
- Review, analyze, implement and administer software and procedures to
address security requirements.
- Prepare and update documentation associated with job responsibilities.
- Assist with analysis, design and implementation of hardware/software
solutions that require a high level of technical knowledge and skill.
- Responsible for identifying maintenance requirements and maintaining
IT systems as appropriate.
- Use advanced scripting techniques to automate departmental processes.
- Provide operational support during off-hours.
- Manage the identification, development and implementation of solutions
designed to test and validate I/S compliance with internal
policies/procedures and external laws.
- Assist in or take responsibility for the evaluation of new
technologies, tools, and/or development techniques as directed.
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience.
- Five or more years of progressively responsible Information Systems
experience.
- Experience with trouble-shooting malware.
- Knowledge of IPS/IDS.
- Prior experience running SNORT and OSSEC.
*Specifically I am looking for this type of skill set:*
- *· Knowledge of IPS/IDS. We are running SNORT and OSSEC.
Doing day to day monitoring and care and feeding.*
- *· General network security knowledge. Will be involved in
problems, projects, and the other security engineers.*
- *· Malware trouble shooting.*
