*Position: TANDEM DEVELOPER* *Location: Tampa, FL* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *Job Description:* The Tandem Host Development Team provides software engineering, development, testing, and support for connecting merchants to all credit, debit, prepaid, and EBT issuers, associations, and networks. This is a high volume / high availability system. - Candidates for this position will provide application development for new products, features, connectivity, system improvements and provide technical support. - Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members - Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps - Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications - Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules - Participate in code reviews and ensure that solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; review and provide feedback to the final user documentation *Minimum 3 years Tandem development experience * - Experience in Tandem INSPECT/eINSPECT/visual inspect - Tandem COBOL experience - Tandem PATHWAY experience - Experience with online payment and debit networks (Visa, MC, Discover, Star, Pulse, etc) Preferred Skills: - Tandem C/C++ - Experience with Tandem tools (CONTROL/DBACCESS/KLIST/SCF/MEASURE/IDE's/etc) - Data replication (Golden Gate software) - SQL RDBM (i.e. NonStop SQL / ORACLE) - UNIX experience - Strong communication skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels Strong problem analysis & resolution skills -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
