Role: SAP BI Configurator Duration: 4-6 month contract Location: Rancho Cordova, CA Rate: Market *Job Summary*: Conducts requirements gathering, design, build, test, and documentation activities for SRM. Work under the direction of a Project Manager and Lead Functional Configurator as part of a team to deliver SRM. *Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:* -Gathers detailed requirements from business users for whole business processes and/or functions for SRM -Performs design and development for whole business processes and/or functions on approved projects and on enhancements to existing projects. -Performs configuration/modification and set-up activities in SAP BI -Identifies impacts to business resulting from newly configured or improved business functionality. -Configuration of BI and SRM system to support operational spend reporting -Activating standard extractors, development of custom extractors; activation and modification of BI content for SRM -Implements integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) -Prepares blueprints, functional specifications, test and user documentation and BI "future state" plan for consolidating BI instances. -Updates the manager or Lead Functional Configurator on day-to-day activities and status. *Nature and Scope * -Work back with BI Consultant, Dale Tarar in the Eyewear line of business. Collaborate and provide Dale necessary documentation such as a list of transports. -Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results. -Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues. -May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees’ professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority. *Minimum Qualifications*: -Extensive SAP BI configuration experience -Experience in SAP BI 7.0 -Experience with integrating SAP SRM w/ SAP BI -Experience with project delivery methodology. -Experience with SRM 7.0 based BI reporting -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
