*Position: ODI ETL Developer*
*Location: NYC*
*Duration: 6 + Months*

*Job Description:*
*Brown Brothers Harriman*, *they require ODI as the ETL tool (5 years exp.
with ODI). Financial services background.*
*Responsibilities:*
- Designing ETL interfaces and packages from several data sources
- Dimensions, Hierarchies, Fact Tables
- Experience with Oracle ODI
- Development, ETL designs, datastores, etc.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and Data warehousing
concepts
- Strong PL/SQL knowledge
- Nightly refresh of data load plans
- Hands on experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience with requirements gathering process with Business Analysts
and Users
- Experience working on troubleshooting and performance tuning of ETL
interfaces
- Experience creating data validation test cases, etc.
- Experience with Star and Snowflake schemas
- Draw out, analyze, validate and manage requirements, flows and
deliverables for projects.
- Ensure functionality of product meets with business requirements and
expectations.
*Key Skills:*
- Ability to independently manage, organize and prioritize multiple
tasks and responsibilities.
- Very Strong understanding of SDLC
- Strong understanding of job Schedulers like Autosys
- Strong SQL skills across various databases including Oracle, SQL
Server and DB2.
- Database: ORACLE, SQL Server, DB2
- Knowledge of database analysis tools like TOAD, SQL Developer, etc.
- Strong organizational, analytical and design skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Other Skills (Nice to Have):*
- Knowledge of Actimize product suite, Fircosoft – a plus
*Qualifications:*
- Proven experience in data analysis, designing and development of ETL
- Demonstrated experience with IT requirements development; systems
design, and integration
- Expert analytical skills. Able to critically evaluate the information
gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into
details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general
understanding, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
- A self-starter can manage multiple responsibilities without close
supervision.
- A team player and work independently.
- Experience working with a Global team.
*Experience and Education:*
- Bachelors’ degree in computer science or other engineering discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in ODI ETL development.
