Title : Oracle Middleware Developer Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 10 month contract Job Description: The Oracle Middleware Developer will be responsible for design, development, delivery and support of the back-end Oracle applications stack. The Middleware Developer will work closely with: Architects, Development and Integration Leads, Database Administrators, Hardware Engineers, External Integrators (consultants), and a mix of On-Off Shore Developers. The Middleware Developer is responsible for ensuring that the various back-end technologies are delivered successfully in scope and on time. The Middleware Developer will partner with the Integration Lead to define, design, develop, and implement Oracle Enterprise Management (OEM) technologies within a new 11g/R12 grid. The incumbent will have a background as an Oracle Developer and Database Administrator. This is a hands-on role in which the Middleware Developer is expected to guide the project integration team through detailed design, development and delivery activities. This opportunity will give you the chance to work with our Oracle R12 Integration team from the ground up. Candidates must have great communication skills and a proven history of designing and developing custom software packages within varied Oracle environments. Objective: The Middleware Developer will also have the following responsibilities: • Provide input and guidance for developmental best practices in context to the bank. • Work closely with internal technology teams within our EIS organization. • Define development standards & practices around core and customized developmental guidelines. • Management of back-end deployment dates. • Management of Component-Unit Testing throughout the development and delivery phases. • Management of Break-Fix issues. • Support the coordination of the Functional Integration Testing (smoke test) and pre-production Client Acceptance Testing (QA) solutions. • Support the Change Management and Code Deployment processes. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, development and support of complex Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 ERP implementations. • 3+ years of experience in Oracle RDBMS 9i/10g/11g using SQL, PL/SQL, XML, J2EE and scripting in UNIX environments. • Multiple implementations deploying Directory Services, Access Management and Identity Management within an Oracle Financials (EBS) environment. • Experience with back-end Database Management. • Experience with front-end Application Management. • Multiple implementations of varied Oracle Enterprise Management (OEM) packs within an Oracle Financials (EBS) environment. • Experienced in requirement analysis, coding and testing various modules in a software development life cycle. • Excellent team player and proven track record working in various team sizes performing cross-functional roles. • Detailed in-depth Knowledge of Oracle Architecture, Framework, Technical Stack, Data Dictionary and DBMS Packages. • Substantial development experience in creating stored procedures, PL/SQL Packages, Triggers and Functions.
