Technical Business Analyst / Product Owner
*Responsibilities:*
Should have the ability to author User Stories and Epics in tools like Jira
Perform Technical Analysis/Preliminary Testing/Onboarding of new services
to be consumed
Create Wireframes/Mock UI
Resolve Team’s queries during the sprint and remove roadblocks for
development
Perform user story Grooming/ Planning with Team
Write up Release Notes for new sprints
Conduct Sprint Demo with Stakeholders
Works with Software Developers to support design and development, as
required
Functions a liaison between the stakeholders, user community, and internal
Software Engineers to develop system solutions
Analyzes business strategy and user needs, revises existing system logic as
necessary, documents requirements and specifications, and translate
business objectives into proper system requirement specifications.
Prepares detailed functional and technical specifications from which
programs will be written.
Plans and assists with oversight of testing processes and activities, and
assists business users in validating that the programs meet the
requirements.
Participates in test procedures to help compare test results against
requirements to validate that coding is accurate.
Develops or assists in the development of work plans, time schedules, and
project task items for the Scrum team.
Provides subject matter expert and operational support to internal business
partners
Identifies risks and issues, and seeks approval on complex matters
Ensures quality and integrity across application implementations.
Maintains a working knowledge of system interaction to ensure success in
overall architectural solution.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of
significance.
Experience with Agile project management – should be able to perform as
Agile SCRUM master when required
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights
and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
4-5 years related experience as a BA in developing requirements and
performing system analysis
Presentation skills (MS Visio, Excel and MS Powerpoint).
Experience in creating UI Mock up’s using MS Visio / Balsamiq / Mockup
Builder
Should have knowledge of SOAP UI and REST Client to test services
Experience in using Jira and Confluence
Java knowledge is an added plus
Should have extensive experience Agile methods and principles
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions
Familiarity in cable and telecommunications technologies including video,
broadband, and phone is a huge plus
