Description
*NETAPP STORAGE SPECIALIST- DALLAS, TX and DURHAM, NC*
The Select Group's top client is currently searching for a NetApp Storage
Specialist to join their team for short term contract in Dallas, TX and
Durham, NC. Ideal candidates will have five plus years' experience as a
NetApp SAN Administrator or Engineer and have extensive CDOT experience. If
you consider yourself to be an expert at providing storage design,
migration and implementation guidance please read below.
*NETAPP STORAGE SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Be the Netapp Subject Matter Expert for the Netapp CDOT architecture
and provide knowledge transfer to customer team
- Zoning, Allocation, Data Domain administration, and Perform backup and
recovery procedures
- Working on clients Storage/SAN/NAS and Backup Systems
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain the tool as well as generate
Storage related reports
- Working with Snapvault, Snapmirror, and Snapmanager products to
provide data protection.
*NETAPP STORAGE SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS*
- Experience installing and configuration of NetApp CDOT Architecture
- Understanding of general administration of data ontap
- Experience with Snapvault, Snapmirror, and Snapmanager products to
provide data protection
- Must be able to setup and perform tasks using Netapp Workflow
automation tool (WFA) in order to automate administration task
- Knowledge of Windows & UNIX systems, and usage of connectivity with
HBA devices
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a NetApp SAN Administrator or Engineer
- Background knowledge of EMC Hardware SAN File Systems and
NetApp-Hardware-FAS systems.
- NetApp WFA (Workflow Automation) scripting
- PowerSHeel may be a substitute if candidate has NetApp API knowledge
- Symantec & Oracle utilities DB backups
- Storage Monitoring tools
- BS / BA degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
