Please reply me back with your most updated resume. *SAS Software Engineer* *Location: Union Station DC* *Duration: Long Term* Acts as a member of an Agile team dedicated to the completion of the QUEST project. Providing SAS development, design, and testing services within the team We are willing to take someone with 5-7 years. *Duties and Responsibilities:* - Ensures compatibility between equipment and software, analyzes operational/system requirements, supports design reviews, and presents technical briefings. - Engineers systems, including conducting of prototypes, proof of concepts, or the full implementation of systems and procedures. - Evaluates, assesses, documents, and tests data security and continuity of operations for systems and programs. *Education and Years of Experience: * - Bachelor degree preferred, Experience in lieu of degree will be considered - 7 years of experience in designing and writing computer software and documenting/analyzing user requirements. - Experience with required programming languages like SAS, SQL - Experience with major relational database systems and development methodologies. *Required Skills/Certifications: * - MUST be Certified Base SAS - Must have Proc SQL experience - Must have UNIX Shell scripting experience - Experience Updating existing programs as needed as a result of migration to OPENSSH from TectiaSSH - At least 3 years’ experience in updating SAS processes to implement business rule changes - At least 3 years’ experience in running and validating periodic data processing - Experience Updating existing programs as a result of migration from UNIX to Linux - Experience optimizing existing processes to deliver data sets more quickly *Desired Skills/Experience:* - At least seven years’ experience analyzing requirements from users and producing system specifications developing analysis models using Unified Modeling Language (UML) or other data modeling standards. - At least seven years’ experience with task specified programming languages (e.g., BASE SAS). - At least seven years coding experience with SQL or database stored procedure. - At least five years’ experience in the design and development of applications. - At least five years in either data warehousing, distributed processing, logical and physical database design, software integration, or implementation of security techniques. - Broad, in-depth knowledge of current network, development and database architectures and technologies - Experience with Internet/Intranet protocols and web server technologies, if required. - Experience developing systems architectures preferred. - Experience as a technical leader of software engineering or computer professionals, as required. *Thanks & Regards* *Anurag Srivastava | IDC Technologies Inc* 1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116, Milpitas, CA, USA, 95035.
