Experience with large data sets and performance tuning required. Prepares detailed specifications, diagrams, and other programming structures from which programs are written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents moderately to highly complex ETL processes, in addition to performing advanced application maintenance tasks. Position required skills: · BA/BS degree with five plus years or Master Degree with two years of relevant experience. · At least 5 years of relevant experience using Informatica (PowerCenter 8.6) Server and Client tools including Repository Manager, Mapping Designer and Workflow · Extensive work with data from disparate data sources (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, flat files, etc) and load into ODS and Data Warehouse on an incremental basis. · Experience using Unix utilities to sort and merge large files. · Strong analytical skills. · Vast experience with ETL processes used to create extract databases. · Track record of execution on complex data initiatives. · High proficiency in understanding relational and dimensional data models · Proven background improving process quality and providing system automation recommendations and strategies to manage solutions and data efficiently. · Strong SDLC process knowledge. · Understanding of the value of a structured change management process. · Effective oral and written communication skills. · Work in a collaborative office environment with other developers, business analysts, and a project management team. · Working knowledge of Autosys 11 including scripts design, dependency management and notification processes.
