*Avaya Telecom Analyst*

The IT Avaya Telecommunication Analyst position responsible for the
implementation and maintenance of telephone hardware and software in a very
complex and high paced, multi-tasking environment. The IT Avaya
Telecommunication Analyst is also responsible for the implementation of
telephony applications and hardware pertaining to the Avaya PBXs, adjuncts,
and including Avaya , and EVDR/Call recording. Other duties include adding,
moving and changing telephone systems and providing support to all client
locations. Other responsibilities for the IT Avaya Telecommunication
Analyst include hands on implementation at remote facilities, including
vendor management to ensure specifications are maintained and the
architectural design is adhered to, installing media gateways and servers,
IP sets and sets IP scopes, working with the network infrastructure on QOS
issues, designing system layouts/configurations and planning new product
implementations to meet business needs. This position also will be
responsible for high level pricing and designs for the new customers that
we have brought in. This position will be on a 24 x 7 rotation, providing
tier support issues and project guidance.

*Required Qualifications

• Employee must have a working knowledge of the Avaya System Installation
and Management and 1+ years of experience, Avaya Media Gateway and Server
installation and management, Avaya IP Telephone, and vector knowledge, and
IP design and maintenance.

• Work as a liaison with business partners and vendors for projects and
initiatives.

• This candidate must have a good knowledge of carrier services and
interfaces.

• This candidate must have strong interpersonal skills (oral and written),
organizational skills documentation and organization skills, be able to
think outside the box, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be a
self-starter. They should also be good at problem solving, troubleshooting,
mentoring and motivating others, and be a real team player.

• Technical proficiency in Avaya PBX for 2+ years, Centre Vu Call
Management Systems, AES, call recording and Proficiency with MS office
applications, Windows operating systems, Linux operating systems, and a
multi-site environment.



**Preferred Qualifications*

• Experience and hands on working knowledge of Avaya PBX systems and
adjuncts such as call recording and CMS.

• Visio experience

*Education

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
