Experienced SAS Platform
- Experience administering SAS 9.4 in a Redhat
Linux environment
- Ability to perform all tasks related SAS Platform
Administration including but not limited to:
- Creating users, groups and roles.
- Creating both SAS and database libraries
- Securing metadata according to customer security
standards
- Stopping and starting servers
- Working within SAS Midtier
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Experience configuring SAS to authenticate to PAM
correctly modifying the SASAUTH module.
- Experience configuring SAS/SECURE for password
encryption as well as client-server communication encryption.
- Experience configuring SAS/CONNECT and working
with users in defining SAS/CONNECT remote connections.
- Experience administering and working with
following products:
- SAS/Enterprise Miner
- SAS/Text Miner
- SAS In-Database Technologies for Hadoop
- SAS/Access to Hadoop, Greenplum, Impala, Oracle
and Teradata
- SAS/ETS
- SAS/STAT
- SAS/Enterprise Guide
- SAS/BASE
- Experience with SAS/EP (embedded process) within
a Cloudera Cluster
- Basic LINUX/UNIX skills
- Experience working with Hadoop in order to
facilitate SAS-Hadoop connections and interactions.
- Experience with SAS/DS2 (SAS/Data Step 2)
- Experience working with SAS Mid-tier from
configuration and troubleshooting perspective
- Enterprise Miner Mid-tier components
- SAS/Studio (Users are migrating to this interface
for more of their work)
