Job Description :
Position: SharePoint Developer
Location: Mountain View, CA.
GC/USc/GC-EAD


Project Description:
The Developer/Analyst will participate in the architectural design,
development, customization and integration efforts of enterprise solutions
involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Content Management, Business
Process and Forms, and Business Intelligence. Utilize Microsoft SharePoint
Server 2007/2010/2013, SharePoint Designer 2007/2010/2013, SQL Server 2008
R2, 2012 and .NET components. The Developer/Analyst is expected to perform
analysis, design, and to incorporate new technology and/or tools to enhance
the application development process. The individual is responsible for
working with clients and other members of IT to resolve problems and
enhance the system to advance the business user’s system.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and maintain SharePoint business solutions by
documenting requirements, designing prototypes, developing and validating
solutions, and implementing approved solution.
Identify, evaluate and incorporate new SharePoint features or third party
applications into current environment
Continually strive to enhance or improve business systems processes that
drive efficiency through use of best practices
Track record of successfully driving business decisions engaging multiple
decision makers and diverse constituencies.
Monitor progress of SharePoint projects and take corrective action as
required to ensure deadlines and business needs are met.
Identify system problems and determine necessary resolution.
Partner with SAP, Siebel and Microsoft BI teams to establish data
connections for business process automations.
Work directly with other SharePoint developers and administrators.
Execute quality assurance from test definition through assessment sign off.
Provide end user training and on-going user support during implementation
and after go live date.
Experience in developing annual and 3+ years business plans and roadmaps.
Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in
the support and/or maintenance of systems.
Stay abreast of current trends, literature, and technologies around
SharePoint
Develop migration plans to migrate SharePoint 2007/2010 content to
SharePoint 2013.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
5+ years; professional-level experience, including experience working with
SharePoint as an administrator, developer and/or architect
Strong SharePoint knowledge including: SharePoint Services, Designer, Web
Parts, Site Collections, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, .Net,
Search, Taxonomies, Navigation customization, Business Data Catalog,
Kerberos, Master Pages, Page Layouts, CSS, XLST, ItemStyles, AJAX,
JavaScript, SQL Server and Web Services
Knowledge of Microsoft BI technology stack including Performance Point,
MDX, Analysis Services, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS a plus, but not required.
Experience in the implementation and migration of SharePoint and ability to
seamlessly integrate with other Microsoft tools and Enterprise Systems.
Evidence of successful execution of SharePoint site build-out following
standards, guidelines and best practices.
