Title : Java Pega Developer Location : Chicago , IL Duration : 12 months *Job Description:* · 8 to 10 years of experience leading application development teams through end to end systems delivery life cycles for packaged and custom enterprise business applications. · *Minimum of 6 years of Java/J2EE development experience and at least 3 years of Pegasystems development experience.* · Experience leading complex application integration efforts. Deep knowledge of enterprise integration design patterns and core technology solutions including IBM MQ, JMS and enterprise service bus platforms such as BizTalk and Data Power · Proven leadership skills around resource planning, delegating, estimating and prioritizing work. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences. · Experience managing projects and teams in an Agile environment using Scrum. Experience planning and executing Agile sprints across multiple work streams with off-shore development teams. · Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. · Expertise in core technology solutions and frameworks including Web Services (SOAP/REST), Messaging, Transaction Management, Spring MVC, Hibernate, DAO, BRMS, BPM. · Strong command of Core Java/J2EE concepts and design patterns · Experience with at least one Application Server preferably WebSphere, JBOSS, or Weblogic. · Proficient in dimensional modeling; relational modeling and star schema design concepts · Proficient in DBMS Technologies which include SQL Server, DB2, MS Access, Oracle, Siebel Analytics; Data Warehousing appliances · Exposure to SAML, EAM and IWS for external solution integration (specifically SaaS solutions) · Knowledge of web-based application architecture, service-based architecture (SOA), J2EE Design Patterns and enterprise application architecture. · Functional Experience in the Financial Services domain, Insurance (Health/Life/P&C), Capital Markets, or Banking. · Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) or Chordiant technical and product knowledge; PRPC implementation experience. · Possess one of the following certifications: CSA (Certified System Architect), CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) or LSA (Lead System Architect) · Experience in process engineering and designing and developing process based solutions · Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience is a must · Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project for Project Planning and Management.
