Desired characteristics: • Understands data organization and data hierarchies. • Good working knowledge of information organization, categorization and taxonomies. • Has some background in library science. • Must be comfortable working in a high paced environment. *Position 5 - Research Software Development Engineer* Responsibilities include: • Develop advanced search applications around innovative new algorithm and ideas; understand and implement data mining algorithms. • Take algorithms and make them work fast & accurate on large data sets. • Work closely with researchers. • Actively participate in suggesting and developing innovative features for applications. • Rapidly prototype new ideas with fast turn-around time. Required skills: • Strong skills and experience in C#/C++. • Rapid prototyping skills.
