"This position is for a senior role where the candidate is expected to
create data base structures which may run into more that 500 lines of SQL
code. VERY HIGH proficiency is required in Oracle SQl,PL/SQL
• Should have VERY HIGH proficiency in Tableau versions of 9 and above
• The candidate should be well versed with understanding data models and be
able to establish relationships between different data sets identifying the
relations.
• Will have to work in an onsite-offshore model and constantly communicate
with offshore development teams
• Requires willingness to be on call rotation 24X7 for production operation.
• Full understanding of Tableau & one BI tool - BO or Cognos is mandatory
• Exposure to Data Warehouse technologies (Oracle, Cognos, etc).
• Additional consideration will be given to those individuals who possess
the following specific competencies: Java/HTML/SharePoint integration of
Tableau visualizations
• Have good knowledge of the product line offered by Business Objects to
advise our clients on the appropriate product to satisfy their reporting
need.
• Able to take a high level objective and deliver results with minimal
supervision and under the directives of the team leader. Work around the
challenges and setbacks that come with every project, and deliver the
results on time. Therefore the candidate needs a high level of confidence,
maturity, commitment, and who has demonstrated the drive to achieve and
succeed, in previous jobs.
• Keep up with changing technology, particularly in the reporting or
information delivery environment; and one who can demonstrate the
resourcefulness to learn whatever is needed to get the job done. The
candidate needs a high level of intelligence, creativity, and adaptability.

All users, functional, technical and system documentation is written in
English. Therefore, we expect that this person can write and speak English
effectively.

Will be working on an Analytics project creating advanced visualization
using Tableau & integrating it with Office Products
• Will be responsible for creating database views & functions/procedures to
create data sets.
• Work closely with the Offshore developers addressing their problems. If
needed, liaise between Business Objects technical support and the
developers
• Work closely with the developers during the upgrades or patch maintenance
to ensure minimal disruption to the Tableau environment."
