Position  :  Voice Engineer
ocation :  Hightstown, NJ
Duration : 6 Month's

Requirement:
This position requires proven technical ability in Avaya voice solutions.
Act as a technology lead for designing voice platforms and technical lead
supporting voice platforms.  Other responsibilities include participating
in security audits, creating technical designs, implementation, and
configuration.   Document technical and business requirements.  Document
operation and business processes.  Design and implement appropriate
solutions.   Support projects and provide on-going support for new and
existing platforms.  Work with project managers, business customers, and
contractors on solutions.  Researches and provides information on voice
related solutions.  Perform software evaluations and testing of new and
existing voice solutions.  Function as a third level support resource.
Must be able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a
professional manner.  Can install, configure, and operate voice solutions
in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Responsible for system engineering including network assessment,
integration, testing, and implementation
Perform product evaluations and engineering studies and make
recommendations
Act as third level support  to 3rd party help desk and level one and two
operations staff
Utilize network management tools to monitor and assess health of voice
infrastructure and gather data for planning purposes
Liaise with 3rd parties, internal teams, and internal customers to ensure
effective day-to-day delivery of voice services.
Research new products and potential solutions
Coordinate with vendors, business units, and 3rd parties
Communicate on major service outages
Monitor and report on 3rd party service delivery metrics and overall
performance.
Manage issues, incidents, or problems that range in complexity and
ambiguity
Continually seek improvements that will enhance service reliability.
Assess and report delivery of projects to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work
experience.
Possesses 10 plus years of relevant professional work experience designing,
implementing, and troubleshooting TDM based and IP based telephony
environments
Extensive experience with Avaya telephony solutions
Ability to manage critical situations and technology incidents.
Strong people skills
