In 2015 we approached and gained board approval for staff additions to support the “Surround and Evaporate, “SCAPAP” projects in addition to supporting our ever demanding roll close activities. One of the positions is for a .NET Application Developer to design and support our web based (intranet and internet) system. We attempted to recruit for this position and were unsuccessful. We will continue to recruit for the position, however we are now struggling with our very high volume of daily activities for users & applications support. We need quick action of filling this skill within our organization. We would like to hire a skilled technical consultant to perform these activities so that we can continue to support and build applications for our users and customers. We expect that we may be able to hire a full time personal for this position within next 6 months. Skills, Experience & Responsibilities Dot net based developer with 5+ years of applicable/demonstrated experience of developing web based system in n-tier architecture. This person, as part of core development and support group, will contribute to serve by understanding, advising, coordinating, and helping develop the full stack for Web, desktop and mobile applications, including server/network/hosting, data modeling, business logic, API, user interface, user experience, and customer/business needs. Skills Requirement: o Experience of developing applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET using Microsoft Visual Studio in latest versions of .NET including 2.0, 3.0,4.0 o Programs in object oriented languages and development environments (C# .Net, etc.). Codes in web centric environment (HTML5, JavaScript, VBScript, CSS3, XML, jQuery, JSON, etc.). o Experience in understanding and resolving issues related to classical ASP pages o Experience in a high availability / internet facing environment o Knowledge of Web Server architecture and Application processing in context to developing and deploying web pages to IIS Server o General knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guidelines regarding security of databases o Analyze business requirements for database design, and suggest changes to database as necessary o Excellent written and verbal communication skills o Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts o Ability to perform in a multi-tasking, team-oriented environment and contribute independently o Should have good interpersonal skill and must be capable of handling the team and understanding the client requirements Experience Requirement: a. 5+ years of hands-on .NET Development experience with C# b. 5+ years of hands-on experience on Web Technologies in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS and VBScript c. 5+ years of experience with general Database tasks such as developing Microsoft SQL Server database objects, writing T-SQL queries, store procedures, code deployments and query performance tuning Education Requirement: BA/BS Computer Science Responsibilities: a. This person will perform detailed development and support role for .NET based application. b. The Dot net developer has the technical responsibility to serve by understanding, advising, coordinating, and helping develop the full stack for Web and desktop / mobile applications. c. This person will design the data objects, write queries for databases and tables and links to support the entire replacement project d. This person will review SQL Queries and SSIS process to keep data synchronized between different systems. Performance Expectations: a. Able to absorb and understand existing .NET and classical ASP based application and process within the first 30 days. b. Able to absorb and understand existing SQL Database and structures within the first 30 days. c. Able to work with each of the three Division to understand the business process to enough detail to understand the existing applications and SQL Databases/Structure and limitations within 30 days for each division. d. Able to develop and support .NET and ASP based applications (intranet and internet) that incorporate all three division within 60 days. e. All of these activities have some overlap with the expectation that we can start application development and support from the start of this engagement. f. There will be a detailed project plan flushed out within first 30 days of engagement 5. Monitoring and Reporting Expectations: a. There will be weekly status reports – to be reviewed and mutually agreed upon b.
