That would be communicating with doctors regarding what is needed on the project.* *Job Description:* The Hospital Rule-Based Systems (HRBS) Team is in need of a Web Developer to help with software development and support for a variety of rule-based patient care systems used throughout the Rochester hospitals. The HRBS team supports web-based applications which provide functionality that reduce medication errors, manage hospital-acquired infections, assist with physician rounding, and manage pharmaceutical expenses through a combination of data collection and rule processing. The successful candidate will help with (1) the mandatory enhancement; (2) daily maintenance/support; and (3) 24/7 on-call supports of the existed applications. *Basic Qualifications:* A Bachelor's degree and experience/training in software development; and over 5 years professional software development & OO design experience. Must have strong experience with SDLC processes and developing web based applications using technologies such as .Net, Microsoft SQL Server/Application, other relational databases; Web Services development experience is also preferred. Skills on Crystal Reports, Business Objects and Visual Basic would be plus for candidates. This person must be proficient in both the back end and front end. *Other Qualifications:* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in software development, implementation, and support of multi-tier web based applications running on Microsoft SQL Server is preferred. Candidate must be self-directed with the ability to work independently on assignments, participate in the team problem solving and have good communication skills in time manner under the team environments.
