<p>The Senior Linux System Administrator is responsible for helping maintain
all aspects of systems lifecycle management: installing, configuring, and
maintaining Linux servers including web servers, mail servers, application
servers, and database servers. The Linux Systems Administrator works closely
with engineering and product development to help design and implement
development, staging, and QA environments for new products and services,
utilizing systems automation software. <br></p>
<p><strong>6 + years of Linux Systems Administration with an Enterprise Linux
variant such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux on CISCO, IBM and
HP serve<br></strong><br><strong>3+ Years Experience in following
required:</strong><br></p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated strong knowledge of internal controls and experience working
as a member of a core team</li>
<li>Work with tools to support the IT Security program as well as provide
assistance to the corporate information security governance & risk
teams</li>
<li>Define, implement, and support for an enterprise security operations
platform for all server/Network infrastructures in a large-scale highly
availab</li>
<li>Develop logging, metrics and reporting programs to facilitate performance,
security monitoring and predictive analysis.</li>
<li>Perform the day-to-day operations to protect the integrity,
confidentiality, and availability of information assets and technology
infrastructures</li>
<li>Analyze security logs and data from operating systems, firewalls,
intrusion detection / prevention systems, sniffers, data leak prevention
tools</li>
<li>Understanding of protocol technologies such as LDAP, SSL, SSH, and Active
Directory</li>
<li>Requires the ability to lift 50 lbs</li>
</ul>
<strong>1+ Years Experience in following required</strong><ul>
<li>Experience using Scripting languages for task automation (Python, Bash,
Perl, etc.).</li>
<li>Provide weekend and after hours coverage for all systems on an “as-needed”
basis.</li>
</ul>
<strong>Highly Desired (2+ Years Experience)</strong><ul>
<li>Cloud experience will be a plus (AWS, Rackspace, etc.)</li>
<li>A familiarity with Windows Server and administering Active Directory</li>
</ul>
