Please do let me know if you have any suitable profile *Security Engineer* *Charlotte, North Carolina* *Long term* *Current security certification such as CISSP, CISA or other audit certifications a plus.* *Responsibility:* • *Analyze, troubleshoot, and investigate security-related, information systems’ anomalies based on security platform reporting, network traffic, log files, host-based and automated security alerts*. • Maintain, configure, and analyze network and *host-based security platforms* • Evaluate systems using vulnerability scanners and manual techniques to verify system security settings and configurations. • Provide reoccurring reports for network and host-based security solutions • Maintain and update relevant system and process documentation and develop ad-hoc reports as needed • Assist the development of security tool requirements, trials, and evaluations, as well as security operations procedures and processes • Develop security tool requirements, trials, and evaluations, as well as security operations procedures and processes • *Manage security responsibilities, including firewalls, proxy systems, logging, and other security devices.* • Create and review reports on event anomalies. • Develop and maintain security policies. • Raise awareness of security policies and develop corresponding procedures. • Provide security expertise to the company. • Assist in the enforcement and monitoring of *Compliance regulations*. • Investigate and respond to security violations. • Designs and conducts training for corporate security education and awareness programs. • Defines security requirements and reviews systems to determine if they have been designed to comply with established security standards. • Develop new standards as necessary. • Analyze business needs, researches and recommends solutions.
