LOCATION: EDISON, NJ Duration: 12+ months General Requirements: Position Type: Consultant *Experience:* 7+ years hands-on software quality assurance and test automation experience *Education:* BA - Computer Science or equivalent degree with related work exposure *Communications:* Strong oral and written communication skills Position Requirements: *1. The candidate must have proven experience creating, maintaining and executing automated test scripts at the code level using Java. *By applying this Java experience, the scope of the position is to work with Selenium/apium for web-based and mobile-based applications within an established automation framework. 2. Back-end database testing experience is important. *Solid ability to create SQL queries* and analyze the results. 3. Experience testing under various application environments including web-based, mobile and client/server. 4. Ability to review and understand business requirements, functional specifications and system design documents with the goal of performing a structured validation. 5. Experience using defect tracking systems and general knowledge of defect processing and control. 6. Capable of working independently or as part of a QA/Project team, as required by the project.
