Skillset required

Know some of the data stores: Oracle, Hadoop, Access, Splunk, Cassandra etc.
Know data query languages : SQL, Regex, Excel Macros, Visual Basic etc.
Know some of the BI front end tools: Tableau, PowerBI, ClickView etc.
Strong Experience with building complex BI dashboards
experience in large volume, data warehousing type applications
Experience with Agile development environment for data projects
Enjoys understanding people and what truly motivates them
Is a good listener and is interested in learning what contractual or
monetary drivers are impacting behaviors.
Job Description

Help with billing data reconciliation and data quality
Help with data pipeline automation
Help with writing user stories for new data requests
Help with writing requirements, epics and user stories for new product
offerings and help shepherd them thru various phases of life cycle:
Requirements gathering, grooming, ideation, architecture, design, data
analysis, dimensional and meta data modelling, physical design, data
security, prototyping, raw data extraction, data cleansing, ETL
development(Data warehouse) , summary data and pipeline development (Data
mart), Business intelligence reporting, visualization and dashboard
development, data mining, testing, data quality and validation,
documentation, storage capacity planning, deployment, production support,
enhancements, automation,
Have access to various internal Client’s system to be able to query and
reconcile data (XBI, VIPER Big Data , XBO, Compass Atlas, Athena etc.)
Help build bridges with other data teams engineers: XBI, VIPER Big Data ,
XBO, Compass Atlas, Athena, Cisco, Cox, Shaw…
Help with customer facing activities like new data feature requests,
implementation of data feeds, BI dashboards, documentation etc.
Help with business cases for new data monetization concepts like Athena
Multi-tenant for MVPDs
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of
significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights
and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
