Position: Project Manager (Agile/Scrum) Location: San Francisco, CA Duration: 6+ Months *Required Skills: * *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES* *Primary Job Responsibilities:* - Build strong relationship with the scrum teams that is based on trust, respect and collaboration - Organize and drive Scrum Ceremonies – Daily Stand up, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, - Work with product managers to define requirements and maintain the backlog - Lead teams through project pre-conditions, envisioning, and foundation design - Facilitate Scrum of Scrum sessions across dependent teams - Identify and track key dependencies and impediments for the Scrum teams - Interface with the Program Manager to identify program impediments and help remove them - Ensure a regular cadence of delivery for the program - Provide overall leadership for the teams, influencing & coaching the teams use of Agile - Regular interactions with senior management establishing visibility into the scrum teams - Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing - Ensure accurate resource allocation via agreed upon tool - Maintain a close working relationship with the Program Manager and Product Owner - Ensure teams completed work is deployed to production *Job Requirements:* - Minimum of 5 years of experience leading projects - Experience in E-Commerce or Retail - Over 3 years of experience as a scrum master. - Must be an excellent communicator, able to gain the respect of the team, external stakeholders, and management. - Must be able to nurture self-organizing, high performing teams through servant leadership and mentoring. - Must encourage, support, and guide continuous improvement of the team, its products and processes. - Must be able to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation. - Must be willing and able to identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and then facilitate quick resolution. - Must understand Agile metrics and reporting techniques. - Must work effectively in a dynamic development environment with matrix reporting structure - Must be able to lead a team to make realistic and achievable delivery commitments. - Ability to influence others including those in senior management - Strong written and verbal skills, comfortable presenting to large and small groups - Deep knowledge of and passion for Agile/Scrum - Ability to know when to manage the task versus the team/org - Nice to have - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree -- *Regards* *Mahesh Kumar* *Resourcing Specialist* *D: 678-261-5215* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
