*Job Title: *SQL Server Developer

*Location: *Atlanta, GA

*Duration: * 6 Months



*Technical skills*

·         4-6+ years prior experience in application and database
development preferred to include experience developing in at least 2 of the
following  SDLC models: Waterfall, Agile, RAD

·         Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL; experience with
other Microsoft technologies, including MS SQL 2012+ experience (stored
procedures, triggers, table management, etc.) is preferred

·         Experience in implementing applications using  RDBMS principles,
database design and normalization and understanding of how database
modeling techniques relate to each other

·         Ability to develop or modify moderately complex software in a
Microsoft Windows environment is required

·         Ability to follow SDLC standards, source-code management, and
release-management procedures

·         Passion for clean, readable code

·         Knowledge of PL/SQL Oracle is a plus.

·         Knowledge of Crystal Reports is a plus.

·         Experience analyzing and documenting requirements and processes
is required

 *Professional Skills*

·         Technically and methodically approach the problem for diagnosis
and troubleshooting

·         Creates a detailed design specific for the application components
according to the requirements

·         Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills are
required as well as successful experience in managing timelines and task
priorities

·         Ensure appropriate documentation for all development and
modification

·         Detail oriented and an organized person

·         Writing documentation with functional and technical content

·         Following and adding to the programming standards

·         Working close with the business clients in order to understand
their needs

·         Ensure that all work performed adheres to process, database
standards, timelines and quality standards

·         Work proactively & independently to address project requirements,
and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project
delivery risks

·         Ability to complete development tasks quickly, including all
aspects of the SDLC lifecycle, and quickly move on to new tasks

·         Must be able to respond in a fast-paced environment where
requirements and priorities change on short notice
