*Role: Core Java Developer Location: Philadelphia, PADuration: 6 month contract* *!!NOTE: Need Local Only !!* *Discription:*Java Developer who will be working on a supporting an effort to rollout Client’ X1 video platform exclusively in the Atlanta Braves stadium. Will custom tailor the experience so it’s available in a public setting. Will lock down portions of the X1 experience they do not want individuals in a public setting to be touching and develop control systems such as: allowing the devices within the stadium to be activated and controlled in a bulk setting – set all TV volumes to a certain level, power on/off TV’s. etc. Must have experience using Core Java, not interested in people mostly working in frameworks, as they are generally shielded from issues in developing custom apps. It’s written in Core Java in a multi-threaded setting so this experience is important. Must have extensive Developing Customer facing applications. Not looking for an internal application developer. Preferred experience would be on Apps that have scaled beyond a hand full of users needed. X1 is on over 14MM devices – highly scaled systems are desired and people that have worked on things that have fanned out beyond its original intent (such as Games etc.) Gaming industry experience will be highly desired as it helps with UI Layers. Mobile device development is attractive (SW that is shipped to customers via iTunes/Google play). Web Development in a more consumer facing role is needed and smaller start-up exp is highly desired. *Must Have:*Core Java Multi-threaded development Extensive Customer facing, highly scalable application development.
