Position: IBM iSeries Cobol applications Location: Atlanta GA Duration: 6+ Months *This role require strong COBOL, SQL and ideally experience with IBM Iseries.* *Job Description:* Evaluation of user requests for new or modified applications to determine their feasibility and interpret specifications. Recommend solutions and design improvements for increased efficiency. 35 % - Investigate and resolve systems and programming problems. Troubleshoot, debug, provide recommendations and execute solutions. Test and troubleshoot to ensure quality of applications. 15% - Modify, code and test new and enhanced systems and programs from general requirements. May create and maintain automatic test scripts.
