Please find the job description below, appreciate if you can go through it and revert back to me with your latest copy of resume ASAP and do let me know if your friends or colleagues who might be interested for this position. *Job Title : Tableau Visualization Expert Duration: 6-12 Months Location: Charlotte, NC Experience: 8**-10 years* *Responsibilities* • Expertise in mapping and visualization in Tableau • Creating UI visualizations with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and Tableau Reader in various versions of Tableau 9.x/8.x/7.x/6.x. • 5+ years experience as visualization expert and atleast 3+ years in Tableau • Commanding grasp of HTML5, CSS, and Javascript • Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities • Ability to suggest and recommend multiple options to visualize data • Need to do continuous research on new and innovative way to visualize data and provide appropriate solutions as per the project needs • Should be able to recommend appropriate visualization type • Create high quality mock-ups for Infographics dashboards • Initiate and take ownership of data visualization practice activities • Create and design storyboarding mock-ups and Integrate improving functionality • Propose creative workarounds considering BI tool limitations • Coordinate with developers and provide creative inputs to ensure pixel perfect formatting of dashboards • Convert existing dashboards and reports into more visually intuitive and appealing ‘story boards’ using a data visualization tool. • Create visualizations to enable for faster decision making from business • Design and development of various dashboards, reports utilizing Tableau Visualizations like Dual Axis, Bar Graphs, Scatter Plots, Pie-Charts, Heat Maps, Bubble Charts, Tree Maps, Funnel Charts, Box Plots, Waterfall Charts, Geographic Visualization and other making use of actions, other local and global filters. • Creation of User Objects (filters, prompts, metrics, Sets and Groups, Calculated Fields) to develop Documents and reports. • Building dashboards using techniques for guided analytics, interactive dashboard design, and visual best practices to convey the story inside the data using Tableau. • Development of Scorecards, KPI dashboard and detailed drilldown dashboards based on Hierarchy • Need to have knowledge on Blended data from multiple data sources, used parameters, filters, advanced calculations. • Work collaboratively with the Data Integration team to implement BI solutions driven by business requirements. • Strong capabilities at designing visual interfaces for data discovery. • Strong SQL skills.
