Role: SAP BI/BW Lead Location: Harrisburg,PA Duration: 6 Months The Technical Specialist is a senior level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a specific technology such as SharePoint development or an SAP specialist. The Technical Specialist has an overall knowledge and understanding of application development and architecture that serves as a strong base for technical expertise in a specific product or program. Short Description: Senior SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Consultant responsible for development and support of an existing SAP BW environment. Experience with public sector is preferred. Description of Duties: Provides support for enhancements to existing SAP BW DataSources, DSOs, InfoCubes, MultiProviders, InfoObjects, InfoSets & APDs. Create/modify transformations; or convert existing update rules and/or transfer rules to transformations Update/Create SAP BW queries and workbooks using the Query Designer and BEx Analyzer tools Identify, troubleshoot & resolve issues in development/configuration/reporting Provide accurate and detailed work effort and time estimates Develop and document test strategies & results Required / Desired Skills 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study Written communication skills to adequately document work Oral communication skills to train staff and inform management of all implemented assignments Communicate accurate and useful status updates weekly Technical ability to configure a software tool to produce desired output Experience developing and reviewing management reports Experience gathering business requirements and translating to technical specifications Experience developing metrics and dashboard reporting Installation of BW Experience with both SAP BW 3.5 and 7.x Thank you, David Shah [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
