Mobile Application Developer - Android & I/OS

This position is located in Dorchester, MA

Our client is hiring for an experienced Mobile Developer that has
experience with the both the Android and I/OS platforms to help support an
ongoing project. This is an ONSITE role in Dorchester, MA (free onsite
parking and close to redline stop). Ideally we are looking for a candidate
that has developed apps in a corporate environment.

Interview Process:
Phone Screen, followed by an in person interview (highly preferred)

Tasks
Android:
- 4-5 years of experience as a developer Android. Much better if has
experience as a lead developer
- Use of Eclipse and Android Studio
- Knowledge of Android design patterns
- Development with Android 6.0
- Development for smartphone, tablet, wearables
- Development with Fragments (life cycle, backstack, fragment manager,
etc.)
- Development of animations and custom views (own classes and external
Android libraries)
- Data persistence (SQLite, SharedPreferences, etc.)
- Use of third-party libraries (Gradle, licenses, etc.)
- REST services (Retrofit, Volley, http cache, ssl pinning, etc.)
- Geolocation, maps, push notifications
- Preferably if can show a portfolio of applications or developments
(account on Google Play, github, etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile
- Knowledge of iOS development would be a nice extra
- Knowledge of hybrid applications development (Ionic, Xamarin, etc.) would
be a nice extra

iOS:
- 4 - 5 years of experience as iOS developer. Much better if has experience
as a lead developer
- Development in objective-c and swift
- Knowledge of iOS design patterns
- Development for different types of devices: iPhone, iPad, iWatch
- Development of animations and customized views (CoreAnimation, CALayer,
CoreGraphics, QuartzCore, etc.)
- Persistence of data on the device (CoreData, NSUserDefaults, filepaths,
etc.)
- Use of third-party libraries (cocoapods, Carthage, licenses, etc.)
- REST services (AFNetworking, Alamofire, http cache, ssl pinning, etc.)
- Geolocation, maps, push notifications
- Preferably who can teach a portfolio of applications or developments (App
Store account, github, etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile
- Knowledge of Android development would be a nice extra
- Knowledge of hybrid applications development (Ionic, Xamarin, etc.) would
be a nice extra
