Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in system development projects for
application enhancements and integration through business requirements
analysis, technical design, programming, testing and implementation
following a structured development methodology.
· Provide ongoing support for an integrated direct-to-consumer
order fulfillment system comprised of custom and third-party applications
supporting Call Center, Warehouse and Merchant business operations.
*Candidate Requirements: *
• Ten years IT experience in applications development and support
• Five years experience in a leadership role with project
management responsibilities.
• Five years programming experience in *Universe or other
post-relational database environment.*
• Thorough understanding of structured development methodology and
experience in producing required project deliverables.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all
levels of management.
• Strong system analysis and problem solving skills.
• Experience in cross-environment application integration projects.
• Commitment to attention to detail, technical correctness and
operating efficiency on project tasks.
• Willingness to support a 24 by 7 business that occasionally
requires nontraditional working hours.
• Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent business/technical
experience.
