Candidates must be local to there* *In person interviews* *Start date: ASAP* *Term- 6 months* *Manual QA Tester needed for a contract to hire opportunity in Wayne, PA!* Top Skills You Should Possess: · Minimum of 7 years of Manual QA Testing experience · Experience in developing and defining master test plans, test scenarios and test scripts/data needs from requirements and design documents for assigned software/hardware (components) releases · Expertise in UAT · Familiarity working with on and off shore vendors What You’ll Be Doing: · Participate and represent the testing team starting from the inception of project. Establish connection to the project from a testing perspective and ensure the quality aspects of requirements and design are met as seen from business user perspective. · Develop and define master test plan, test scenarios and test scripts/data needs from requirements and design documents for assigned software/hardware (components) releases. · Work closely with the business counter parts for validation and approvals for the same and establish the test schedule for UAT. · Work closely with the Project managers and Development & Design teams to ensure the system is ready for testing and meets the entrance criteria needs. Ensure all test related information is loaded into test tracking tool used by client and ready to execute. · Run tests to ensure the stability of the test environment and application changes. · Coordinate, execute and/or ensure the execution of test scenarios in line with defined procedures, processes and plans, in order to deliver quality products. · Analyze, register and file results of testing and report these results to the stakeholders providing different levels of information that includes the summary of the impact of issues, risks, escalation on delays etc. · Identify opportunities to improve the Testing methodology overall (including controls) as well as opportunities on assigned projects for efficiencies, quality of the delivery in conjunction with standardization · Identify opportunities where Automation can be applied and lead and guide the exploration of the same. *What You Need to Bring to the Table:* · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/ equivalent · 5+ years of manual testing experience · Experience working in leasing, banking or financial services strongly preferred. · Experience working in international, multi-cultural environment is preferred. · Excellent written and communications skills with a highlight on proven influencing capabilities · Good understanding of the IT processes in Software development lifecycle and testing · Automation/QTP experience preferred. · Experience working in a hybrid Waterfall/Agile environment of software development · Experience working in Mobile testing methodology is good to have · Testing related certifications like ISTQB is preferred · Must be quality driven and results oriented · A team player who is detail oriented · Must have the ability to design and implement test plans, design test scenarios/materials, and execute with appropriate data · Must be able to partner with other functional areas to coordinate activities as well as handle multiple tasks simultaneously and bring all to a successful conclusion *Regards,* *Lisa Dutt - Staffing Manager* *Desk No # 609-935-3773 EXT 102 | Email : [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Fax 727 499 0906* *ITBrainiac Inc. * *116 Village Blvd, Suite 200 - Princeton, NJ 08540* *www.itbrainiac.com <http://www.itbrainiac.com/>* *I respect the value of your time.
