Position: SQL Server Database Administrator Duration: 2+ months, extendible Location: Columbia, SC *Rate $45/hr to $48/hr* Duties Design, build, implement, secure and maintain databases for development, test and production environments. Work with team to identify and analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions. Write and modify scripts & stored procedures (e.g.: SQL, PHP) for database access or reporting. Ability to efficiently problem solve and analyze a variety of problems, assess risks and implement solutions while adhering to security standards. Participate in cross-training activities to achieve a comfort level supporting data collection servers, as well as cross-train other team members on DBA responsibilities. Work with cross-functional teams to support customer requests as appropriate. Other database duties as assigned. Report progress weekly to management and project manager.
