*Job Description:*
The Sr. Applications Analyst position is a highly motivated individual who
is responsible for the definition, design, and support of solutions in
support of business requirements. The candidate will be responsible for
the functional requirements definition, solution design, implementation,
and maintenance of systems applications. The candidate will work with
various IT groups and business users in defining, prioritizing, and
executing application projects and enhancements. Additionally, the
candidate will play a critical role of ensuring that developers have
adequate clarification and support on all business and functional
requirements and specifications related to applications.
*DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: *
- Requirements gathering and scope definition with non-technical
business user constituencies.
- Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the
development framework for customizations.
- The ability to interview various non-technical managers to understand
complex, dynamic business rules/process and then create detailed, specific
and comprehensive documentation.
- Engage business users spanning multiple business units and ensure
cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective
technology solutions.
- Engage business users to support all necessary clarification for the
Project Team, Developer Team and Production Support Team to design and
implement an effective solution.
- Expert understanding and ability to analyze and query application data
schema.
- Manage components of a project plan or entire small scale projects.
- Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the
development framework for customizations.
- Verification of feasibility of Business User’s request functionality
and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.
- Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without
direct supervision.

*Qualifications*
*Skills:*
- Exceptional analytical skills required to analyze requirements,
identify improvements in business processes, and write functional/technical
requirements.
- Experience in testing functionality against business requirements.
- Knowledge of Project and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies.
- Proficiency with SQL, PLSQL and writing complex queries.
- Experience with global system implementations and engaging with
multiple business units
- Project management experience and proficiency with PM methodology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as
collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority
projects with varying deadlines.
- Able to effectively lead and motivate small project teams.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with ADF or Java or J2EE based application analysis and
implementations
*Experience:*
- 5+ Years of experience in Technology/IT.
- 3+ Years of experience working as a Business / Functional Analyst.
- 3+ Years of experiencing leading project teams.
- 2+ Years of project management experience.
- 3+ Years of experience with complex, multi-national application
implementations.
*Education:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Business, or equivalent.
*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:*
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
equivalent.
- PMI Certification.
- Experience with international or multi-level marketing business.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, etc…
- Bi-lingual.
